- As of 22nd Jun 2023, Knife / Parang / Machete / Axe listed on this website all do not require any approval/licence/permit/authorisation from the Singapore Police Force.
- Important Note:
Some of these items may also be deemed as offensive weapons depending on the circumstances they are found. For example, if a traveller is found to have a hunting knife hidden around his ankle and is unable to provide a reasonable explanation, then he may have committed an offence under the Corrosives Explosive Substances and Offensive Weapons Act or the Miscellaneous Offences Act.
